Welcome to the Department of Maryland Veterans of Foreign Wars website. As you can already see, there have been some changes made and we will continue to work toward making this site as uncomplicated and informative as possible. Maryland VFW has started a couple of initiatives this year that include “our” Wounded Warrior Program, Help our Heroes, and Care Packages for Christmas. As the year progresses please come back to learn more about these programs and how you can help. We will be setting up information pages and also donation accounts that you can make a donation with your credit card. 100% of donations to these programs goes to helping our Veterans! Please continue to browse our site and if you have any suggestions, feel free to let us know.

We are looking for Persian Gulf War veterans who are experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, muscle and joint pain, sleeping difficulties, and memory problems, to take part in a rehabilitative therapy program in Annapolis, Maryland. Read more.
PTSD deployment study seeks your input now. A war veteran (and life member in a Maryland VFW Post) graduate student at the University of Phoenix is conducting research for a doctoral degree in Health Care Administration. The research topic is to explore the pre- and post deployment health care screening for PTSD during recent conflicts.
If you are a VFW member, deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan between 2001 and the present, completed deployment processing through Fort Bragg, Fort Dix, Fort McCoy, or Fort Meade, and are willing to participate in this study, please contact us now (by sending email to email@example.com ).
We request donations for our Department of Maryland Wounded Warriors program again this year, to bring wounded warriors and their families to our state convention. Read how-to instructions.
